Description
MoistureBlock is a 6-mil low-density polyethylene film vapor barrier designed to protect floating laminate and engineered wood floors from harmful subfloor moisture, especially over concrete substrates. Made with 100% polyethylene for long-lasting moisture protection, this underlayment eliminates the need for oversized, hard-to-handle construction-grade plastic sheets. The conveniently sized rolls easily roll out and lay flat, saving time and reducing material waste on small to medium flooring projects.
MoistureBlock features self-sealing tape along the border for quick and easy seam connections, forming a continuous vapor barrier without additional tape. Humidity, mold, and mildew resistant construction ensures healthier indoor air quality. The film is non-allergenic, odorless, and chemically inert. Recommended for use with pad-attached floating wood floors over concrete or any substrate where moisture is a concern.
