QuietWalk Plus is a premium flooring underlayment made from 94% recycled post-industrial and post-consumer fibers, delivering superior sound reduction and moisture protection for laminate, engineered wood, solid hardwood, and rigid core flooring (5mm or thicker). The dense fiber construction achieves IIC 71 and STC 66 sound ratings, making it ideal for multi-story buildings, condos, and apartments where noise control is critical. QuietWalk Plus features an advanced 1.8 mil attached vapor barrier with patented DriWick technology that wicks away up to 5 times its weight in harmful moisture, allowing concrete subfloors to breathe while protecting floors from water damage above and below. The antimicrobial-treated fibers inhibit mold and mildew growth for healthier indoor air. GREENGUARD Gold certified with no VOCs or off-gassing, QuietWalk Plus meets all NALFA underlayment standards and is LEED compliant.
Unlike standard QuietWalk, QuietWalk Plus is approved for floating, double glue-down, and mechanically fastened installations, making it a universal underlayment for multiple application methods. The underlayment rolls out flat for easy handling and features a built-in lip and tape seaming system requiring no additional tape. Approved for in-floor radiant heat systems and backed by lifetime durability with compression-resistant support. Made in USA. Industry standard since 1997.
